Razorback Foundation Announces Creation of ONE Razorback Fund

FAYETTEVILLE – The Razorback Foundation, Inc., today announced the creation of a new gift fund, the ONE Razorback Fund, where every gift, in any amount, will make a positive impact on the lives of Razorback student-athletes and Razorback Athletics. Whether you live in Arkansas, another state or even another country, the goal of the ONE Razorback Fund is simple – generate support from EVERY Razorback alumnus, friend, family member and fan who loves the Hogs.

"The Razorback story is rooted in ONE because there is only ONE Razorback," said Hunter Yurachek, University of Arkansas vice chancellor and director of athletics. "ONE Razorback is a rallying cry, and it's a way of life. It's about banding together as ONE with unwavering Razorback pride. As we focus on fostering the success of our 460+ student-athletes, we Only Need Everyone (ONE). Each gift is meaningful in supporting our mission of Building Champions and Razorbacks for Life."

Philanthropy is a vital component to the success of Razorback student-athletes and gifts to the ONE Razorback Fund will provide valuable resources for a variety of needs, including, scholarships, student-athlete welfare and programming (academic counseling, mental health and performance, career and leadership development, community engagement, nutrition, athletic medicine, and travel), as well as other priority needs for Razorback student-athletes.

"The Razorbacks unify Arkansans, fans, alumni and friends around the world into one family. The ONE Razorback Fund provides an important opportunity for every member of the Razorback family to make a positive difference for the student-athletes who wear the Cardinal and White and to show their Razorback pride and passion. Every gift of any amount matters," said Scott Varady, executive director of the Razorback Foundation. "The ONE Razorback Fund harnesses the collective power of Razorbacks everywhere to make an extraordinary and positive impact on the Razorback program."

As an expression of its appreciation, the Razorback Foundation will provide a ONE Razorback Fund certificate suitable for framing and a ONE Razorback sticker to each person who makes a gift.
