Colton Primm Returns to the Razorback Foundation as Senior Associate Director of Development

FAYETTEVILLE - The Razorback Foundation announced today that Colton Primm, an Arkansas native, will return to the Razorback Foundation after a stint at Louisiana Tech University.

“We are ecstatic to welcome Colton and his family back to the Razorback Foundation,” said Ryan White, Razorback Foundation executive director. “Many of our members already know Colton from his previous time with us, and now he comes equipped with even more experience after leading fundraising efforts at Louisiana Tech. I had the pleasure of working with Colton at Ohio University and look forward to doing so again. As a Fayetteville native and former student-athlete, he knows the love of the Razorbacks and what it takes to win.”

Primm's first day will be March 4, 2024, where he will oversee the Foundation's major gifts team as well as lead our upcoming capital campaign efforts. He will also manage a portfolio of Razorback Foundation members.

Primm served as the Senior Associate Athletics Director for Championship Resources at Louisiana Tech University where he oversaw all major revenue streams for the athletics department, including fundraising, ticket sales and operations, the department's partnership with Learfield, and assisted in the launch of Louisiana Tech's NIL collective. He also served on the executive leadership team in the athletics department and was the sport administrator for the men's golf program. He joined Louisiana Tech in September 2021 as Associate AD for Championship Resources. In two and a half years, he helped raise more than $21M, with four gifts of $1M+, including a $4M gift, the largest corporate gift in the history of Louisiana Tech University. Under his leadership, Louisiana Tech Athletics rebranded its fundraising arm to “Championships Resources”, launched BuildTheLegacy.com in partnership with Sidearm Sports, and implemented its first-ever major giving society, the Aillet Society, which has grown to 80 members contributing $25,000 or more each to Louisiana Tech Athletics. Through the Aillet Society, Primm was able to secure the funding needed for Louisiana Tech's capital campaign for their North End Zone project, which included the Origin Bank Center for Student-Athlete Success, Sarah & A.L. Williams Champions Plaza, and a new videoboard, the largest in the state of Louisiana. Collectively, the campaign totaled $21.5M.

“My family and I are honored to have the opportunity to come back home to Arkansas and serve this great state and this incredible University once again,” said Primm. "I want to thank Hunter Yurachek, Ryan White, and the Razorback Foundation board for giving me the opportunity to re-join the Razorback Foundation. I am excited to jump into this new role and help push Razorback Athletics forward in its pursuit of excellence.”

Prior to his last time with the Razorback Foundation (2019-2021), Primm spent two and a half years at the University of Central Arkansas (2016-2019) as the Director of Athletics Development. He began his professional career as a marketing associate at the University of Arkansas in 2014-15 before moving on to graduate school at Ohio University where he served as a graduate assistant in Athletics Development for the Ohio Bobcat Club under the leadership of current Razorback Foundation executive director, Ryan White.

Primm earned his bachelor's degree in economics and business from Hendrix College (2014) and his MBA from Ohio (2016) and a Master's in Sports Administration from Ohio (2017). He was a four-year letter winner and two-time captain in basketball at Hendrix College.

Primm was recognized by Arkansas Business as one of the most influential young business leaders in the state of Arkansas in the annual “20 in Their 20's” spotlight in September of 2020, and was named a “Rising Lincoln Leaders” award recipient in August 2023 by the Lincoln Parish Journal, recognized as one of the top 20 business leaders under the age of 40 in Lincoln Parish (LA). He is also involved with ADs for Christ.

Primm and his wife Sam, have a three-year old son, Paxton, and one-year old daughter, Scout.
